Abdul Aleem Khan Foundation established its 1st water filtration plant on Nov 26, 2016. Foundation is currently operating sixty (60) plus Water Filtration Plants. In the underdeveloped areas of Lahore. With a capacity of providing 324,000 liters of potable water per day.
These filtration plants are cleaned every day and apart from annual maintenance. For instance, the arsenic, sand, & carbon media is changed every month. The foundation also ensures the quarterly lab tests of the water samples of these plants. Such measures distinguish these filtration plants from the ones installed. By the government and ensures the availability of safe drinking water. It’s for thousands of people. It is the vision of Abdul Aleem Khan Foundation to protect the vulnerable segments of society. It provides them with the best possible facilities to shape a healthy society.

Senior Minister said that there is no doubt that as compare to the population the quantity and quality of our hospitals need much improvement as there is no new addition of hospital in public sector from the last one decade. He pointed out that Shahbaz Sharif was stubborn to start a number of projects in the health sector only because such projects were not having his nameplates. Abdul Aleem Khan said that Wazir Abad Cardiology and Mian Mir Hospitals were the main examples of it which remained in delay for ten years. He admitted that a lot of work is still to be done to provide the best healthcare to a common man for which apart from the government-private sector will have to also come forward and play its role. He said that the present government has a firm commitment to upgrade the present medical facilities and for this purpose planned working has already been started.
