The Voice Season 6 Premiere Recap
On Wednesday, September 26, the sixteenth season of The Voice began with a bang. The judges, Usher, Shakira, and Blake Shelton introduced themselves and welcomed the audience before things got down to business. First up was Team Miley Cyrus, who performed “Walking on Sunshine.” Overall, it was a good performance – catchy and full of energy.
Next up was Team Christina Aguilera, who sang “Beautiful.” Aguilera sounds amazing live on stage and this performance showed. Why she’s one of the greatest female singers of all time. She absolutely killed it!
Team Pharrell Williams featured next with his hit song “Happy.” This was an interesting choice because it wasn’t really a classic Pharrell song – but he did a great job with it nonetheless.
Finally, Team Cee Lo Green sang “Keep Your Head Up” from The Lion King. This was probably my least favorite performance of the night – Cee Lo can definitely belt out a tune but I didn’t think this particular song suited him as well as some of his other songs.
After each team’s performance, there were comments from the judges (and occasional applause). Overall, everyone seemed to have had fun performing and it was great to see such great vocal talent on display!

This week on The Voice, the judges perform a duet with some of their favorite contestants. This competition is fierce, and the judges have to choose who they think will be the winner.
The final four contestants are revealed, and it’s clear that one of them has to go home. The judges take a vote, and it comes down to Tommy and Barrett. They sing a song together, and it’s clear that Tommy is better at singing with others. He wins the challenge, and he’ll be heading into the live rounds.
Muppet Babies are back in Season 6 Episode 4 of Sesame Street. Cookie Monster is teaching kids about healthy eating by baking some delicious cookies for them! But after eating just one cookie, Cookie Monster starts feeling sick–and no amount of drinking water can make him feel better. It turns out that his favorite cookie was actually filled with unhealthy ingredients! In the end, Cookie Monster learns an important lesson about food choices: moderation is key!

Season 6 Episode 5: A Different Kind of Dream
In Episode 5 of Season 6, Big Bird and Bert are excited to go on a field trip to the Natural History Museum.
Fortunately, Elmo is available to take the class on a guided tour of the museum. But as the kids explore its wide range of exhibits, they start having strange dreams. The first dream is a wild ride through Bert’s imagination where he becomes an all-powerful superhero. The second dream sees Big Bird transforming into a fearsome bird of prey.
The next night, the dreams continue with different characters from Sesame Street appearing in each one. Finally, when Elmo tries to have a dream himself, he ends up falling asleep and having one of the most bizarre dreams of all. He’s walking down a long hallway while singing “Row Row Row Your Boat.”

Hopper and Zoe take them to a street fair, and Big Bird shows them how to make the perfect pizza. Finally, Cookie Monster needs a new place to live and finally finds an apartment that’s just perfect – except for one small problem.
